Casio debuts 3 new EXILIM digital cameras

packs a 3X optical zoom lens into a "stylishly thin card size package that measures a mere 3.43" wide, 2.24" high, and .93" thick (.78" at its thinnest point)." The 4-megapixel CCD also adds new dimensions to flesh tones and the fine detail of scenery shots and offers high-speed response.
The digital camera features a start up time of approximately 1.6 seconds (with flash turned off) and a 0.01 second release time lag. It also includes new Pan Focus mode eliminates the need for focusing and Multi-Auto Focus, which automatically selects one of seven different focus point positions to ensure that images are always focused correctly.
The new EXILIM camera features a large 2.0" TFT LCD and a new built-in speaker for audio output. The camera adds audio snapshot and voice recorder capabilities. Users can also specify sounds for start up, shutter release and other functions. It also features low-power design, which has extended battery life by 20% to allow approximately 540 snapshots to be taken. Other functions include high-speed playback functions and a Best Shot mode that uses preinstalled sample scenes to help set up the camera's functions faster.
Other features include a photostand slideshow, a full-month calendar, alarm functions (with audio alert, photo, and audio message playback), world time functins, a triple self-timer, 10MB of built-in flash memory, an SD memory card slot, and support for ExifPrint and USB Direct-Print.
New EXILIM cameras with extended battery performance and macro feature
The new EX-S20U and EX-M20U both exhibit a similar compact configuration in stainless steel cases, which resist discoloration, are finished to a high gloss using Casio's "Ex Fine Blast Treatment". The grip is made of strong, fine ceramic material that fits comfortably in the hand and adds an elegant touch to the overall design.
Both cameras measure 3.27" wide, 2.08" high, and .44" thick, making them about 10% smaller than the previous EXILIM EX-S2; they featurea a startup time of about 0.9 seconds (with the flash off), a release time lag of about 0.01 seconds, and an interval between shots of about one second. The new models also feature high-speed playback image scrolling that operates at a speed of about 0.1 seconds per image, an lower power design for extended battery life of 85% over previous models, and a new macro mode: the new lens, which also features an automatic lens cover, allows close-up photos to be taken from as little as 30cm away.
In addition to the standard features of the EX-S20U, the EX-M20U comes with a built-in microphone and speaker for recording and playback of voice recordings and audio snapshots as well as MP3 file playback and selectable sounds for start up, shutter release and other functions. The EX-M20U also includes stereo earphones.
Both bundle a Lithium-ion battery, USB Cradle, USB Cable, AC Adaptor, a carry strap, and a LCD remote controller. They include 10MB of built-in flash memory and support SD memory card/Multi Media card media.
