Described as an "affordable all-in-one Mac system with adequete speed and a 17-inch display," Apple's eMac was ZDNet's Back to School Pick for the "Starving Student" category: "Don't mess around with setup, crazy configuration, or big price tags; this sparely designed Mac has everything a student needs, including a SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW) option. Plus, its compact size is perfect for those tiny dorm desks."

Now if only Apple could somehow integrate a spellchecker into OSX, that would truly be a feat of modern technology.

Just hit Command-Semicolon when you're done typing. The only thing it flagged in this message was HyperSpell :-)

Also as usual, Dell is distorting perceptions of their system's pricing. When you click the link to look into the Dimension 8300, Dell tells you that the pricing starts out at $999 and shows you a photo of PC, monitor, and printer all together. The challenge of the day : go to Dell's website and try to configure a Dimension 8300 for $999.

Take a look at the title of that post. "Adequete?" And then take a look at the comments regarding spellchecking. Wait a few moments for it to sink in.
