Bare Bones Software today released , the client-side spam filtering software (with which Mailsmith features close integration). The $100 application runs on Mac OS X only; cross-upgrade pricing is $80.

    Ya get what ya pay fer. Mailsmith has some really wonderful features. I love it. I dropped Eudora for it long ago.

    Because the free ones you get from Micro$oft leave you wide open to worms and other nasties of all sorts. How much is piece of mind worth? How much is it worth to support a company that makes some of the coolest software on the Mac?
