Aspyr has announced new Mac versions of Tom Clancy's game titles, due in October for Mac OS X only (and available for pre-order now). Tom Clany's Splinter cell () features covert stealth-action featuring a compelling original storyline and characters inspired by the world of Tom Clancy: "You have the right to spy, steal, destroy and assassinate, to ensure that American freedoms are protected. If captured, the U.S. government will disavow any knowledge of your existence. You are Sam Fisher. You are a Splinter Cell."
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield ($50), built on next-generation Unreal technology, offers 15 new single player missions and 6 dedicated multiplayer maps as well as 57 weapons with real-world accesories, new multiplayer modes and rules for online play: "Command an elite, multinational squad of special operatives against a hidden terrorist foe. In Raven Shield, the third installment, RAINBOW races against time to stop terror and unravel a mystery. [...] lead team RAINBOW in a desperate effort to battle a madman and foil his doomsday plot." (We have several screenshots...)

Finally!
I was wondering if/when we'd ever see a port of Splinter Cell. It's an Unreal-engine game, after all, and not exactly difficult to port now that UT2K3 is out the door. Thank goodness it's coming.
The only potential problem is that Splinter Cell is pretty demanding, but those who want to run it as well as possible will be able to buy a G5 at a store by then. :)
