    it is news

They announced Juno for OS X two months ago and MacNN reported it immediately. We are now talking about access for Mac OS 9 users which was not available until now. If you read the United Online FAQ you will see that it hasn't even been updated yet to reflect the fact that there is OS 9 access (they claim to only have OS X access).

So to the previous poster, you might want to do a little research before you make comments like that.

    who gives a rip

Macs run OS X. so why is this even newsworthy? who gives a great big damn. why don't they instead focus on improving their X software rather than releasing some S***** software for an obsolete OS.

    Multiple Users under OS X

I have been using Juno for a few months now and think it is the best deal for OS X users for unlimited dial-up access. However, I wish they would allow multiple users with one account like I had will AOL, and also fix the problem that Juno doesn't work if you are logged into a OS X user other then the one you installed Juno with.

    MacOS 9 LIVES!

After 5 releases of MacOSX, and 4 years of tweaking and optimizing and so on, OS9 is still here, it will be here, and Apple better realize that people don't want to buy boot-crippled machines. I chose my OS, and since I am running in workstation mode rather than BSD-Server mode, I will be using 9. Thankfully I have Quicksilver and TiBook to do that with. Enjoy the new crippled Macs! Call me when Apple puts the 9 Segment-loader code back on the boot rom.
