The Boston Herald reports that IDG is reconsidering the move of the East Coast Macworld Expo show to Boston: "IDG World Expo said yesterday that it could make more sense to keep the show in New York. David Korse, the new head of the trade show company, told the Herald he has launched an in-depth study on the merits of New York vs. Boston and will make a final decision by Labor Day."

When is Labour Day? Which country's Labour Day to begin with? Ours is May the 1st, but I don't think they're talking about this one. Is it so hard to write a date?

Since this is a North American event I'd assume by Labour Day they mean the North American Labour Day (September 1st).

Let's see, 70,000-80,000 people w/ Apple vs. 20,000-30,000 w/out Apple. Wonder how they came to the conclusion they need Apple to be a part of the show?

a college town... a city that lost its identity years ago. ( I am refering to its Mac comunnity). While Boston and the Mac user world where techies and researchers, the shift to the enterprise mac is publishing and creative. And there is no bigger mac user base than in NYC. New York buys more macs then the rest of the USA put together. NEW YORK RULES THE MAC.
