Matrox demos RTMac for real-time DV editing

Matrox Video Products Group (booth #3341) is demonstrating its Matrox RTMac card at Macworld Expo this week. It is a PCI video card for real-time digital video editing on the Macintosh. It supplements the built-in FireWire capabilities of the Power Mac G4 with composite and S-Video analog video capture and export. Available in the spring, the price will be $1,000. Fully configured systems are expected to start at less than $5,000.
