I don't quite understand. Java and OpenGL are going to be integrated, Apple uses both. Will that not just supplant Java 3D? I'd think no matter how good an internal Java 3D engine was it would never be as good (or as frequently updated) as using OpenGL.
I'm not sure if you were replying to my post, "RIP Java 3D," but if so, I think we're in agreement: OpenGL+Java will likely supplant Java 3D, which even Sun seems to have largely abandoned.
How can I run Java3D on Mac machine? Is it possible?
I have seen any Java3D on Mac yet.

Anybody on the Mac OS Java developers' mailing list is familiar with the debating surrounding when/if Apple will support Java 3D on the Macintosh. I think this pretty much answers it: never.
