updated 02:20 pm EDT, Mon July 28, 2003
Microsoft is expected to release for Mac OS X later this summer with Exchange support for OS X users in corporate environments, according to Microsoft Watch. "The update, Version 10.1.4 of Office X, will add Exchange client functions to Office's e-mail and PIM component, Entourage. It will also incorporate bug fixes to Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft provided the update to beta testers in July.... Users will be able to synchronize Entourage contacts and calendar events with Exchange servers, choosing to synch all of their items or only items in a specific category."

Don't forget...
..and don;t forget that you have to be running Exchange 2000 for your nice new OSX-compliant exchange client to work. Oh, and don't forget that you have to upgrade to Active Directory before you can upgrade your server(s) to Exchange 2000. Thanks, Microsoft. :P
