MacNN reader Greg Smith writes: "The new released by SprintPCS (PDA/phone combo) will sync with a Macintosh (OS X) running Palm's desktop. I have yet to try it on OS 9, but it does indeed work on OS X. Neither Sprint nor Samsung advertise support for the Macintosh."

Be sure to submit to Appl

Apple has a page where you can submit products for Apple's consideration to http://guide.apple.com/

Also you can submit it to the iSync feedback page. Maybe they'll list it on their supported products page.

    Can't get it to work

I just can't get it to work. Any do's or don't. Always worked fine with my 2G Kyocera phone. Got latest Palm Desktop (4.1), iSync and iCal, etc. The phone does not work after Hot Sync. Some calendar and other stuff transferred, but not all and some actions would cause the Palm to crash. Have had to hard reset to get phone to work again and then I lose whatever I did get to Sync. Help!!

    Samsung i500 Works on MAC

I just bought a Samsung i500 Palm Phone and it is sweet... It syncs great with my Mac running OS 9.2.2 I love the phone, small, fast and cool... Macintosh support isn't documented, but after two weeks no problem with OS 9 or OSX at home...

    grrrr

oh good lord. i can't belive i waited so long for this i500, with such anticipation and i absolutely cannot get it to sink. i spent so many hours on the phone with technical people from samsung, sprint customer service and the people at apple care. if anyone has some tips, please post them. i have i synch, and plam 4.1 - but the point is that this phones stupid software won't install on OSX. I thouhgt this cross platform nonsense was getting easier. with the old and clunky i300 i was fine. now i have myself in a tech upgrade entanglement, please help!
