EtherPeek 4.2 improves packet capture

WildPackets today released an update to the Mac OS X version ofts network traffic and protocol analyzer. The new version of EtherPeek for Mac offers improved capture performance, enhanced Packet Decoders, expanded support of Mac plug-ins, and more. EtherPeek for Mac is $700 and includes 12 months of maintenance. Current maintenance owners receive the new version 4.2 upgrade for free; Mac OS X 10.2.4 (or later) is required.
In addition to full support for Mac OS X v10.2 Jaguar, EtherPeek for Mac v4.2 includes new, improved decoders and new analysis modules that provide statistics and decode summaries for Remote Access Dial-up User Services; track commands and other messages for the Server Message Block protocol; provide decode summaries for TNS and TDS traffic; and detail VoIP traffic.
