Trans Intl. has announced availability of a for the Powerbook G4 (1 GHz 17 inch model). Trans Intl.'s 1GB memory modules double the system's main memory 2GB Gigabytes (GB) of available RAM. This makes the Powebook equal in memory capacity to the latest desktop Power Macintosh G4s. Trans Intl. says its new memory modules conform to Apple's stringent electrical and mechanical design guide lines, operating at a clock rate of 166MHz and transmits data at 333Mbps. The $700 module is available now.
