PFTrack 1.1: 3D camera match-moving app

The Pixel Farm today announced , its "revolutionary" 3D camera match-moving application based on core technology developed by Manchester University's Advanced Interfaces Group; it provides a suite of state-of-the-art tools to exactly match Computer Generated content with film or video footage of any resolution. Version 1.1 contains significant enhancements to productivity and workflow as well as expanding the capability of the already industry leading calibration algorithms.
PFTrack 1.1, which will be shown for the first time at Siggraph 2003 in San Diego, includes enhancements to its calibration algorithms; offers a vastly expanded Library of camera presets and the addition of user definable presets; better Matte tools functionality; new track and calibration quality graphs for visual feedback of problem frames; better management tools for auto features and their influence in the tracking process; support for distributing processing nodes; and support for more file formats, including file export for Shake, Digital Fusion, Discreet Flame 5.0/7.1, and support for Softimage XSI, Alias Maya, Lightwave and 3DS Max (moving objects).
