- Sillysoft has released Lux 2.4, an update to its world domination game Lux. This version improves card support over network play and has a nicer Join Game window. Based on the gameplay of the boardgame Risk, Lux supports over a billion different worlds. [2.8MB]
- OIDS.X ($20 shareware) is a remake of a classic fast-paced action/arcade style game. It is optimized for Mac OS X, using OpenGL for graphics, offering support for Keyboard and USB Game controllers, and other enhancements. [7.9MB]
- miXscope 1.3 enables the QX3/QX3+ USB Computer Microscope from Intel Play and Digital Blue. The software allows you to capture images, create time-lapse QuickTime movies, and add a text comment and/or time stamp to the image or movie. It adds functions to reset the QX3, the ability to copy the current live view image to the system clipboard, new sliders to the Advanced drawer to control the Red, Green, and Blue gains of the QX3, and other changes. - Black Cat Systems' Morse Mania 2.5.0 adds Applescript support, allowing it to be used in an automated fashion to send morse code from other applications. This version also adds the ability to change the frequency (tone) of the generated audio, as well as several bug fixes. Morse Mania is a $20 shareware morse code tutor for the Macintosh. - dot software has released Cookie Muncher 1.0.5, an update to its cookie manager that deletes in one of five browsers (Camino, Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla, and OmniWeb). It can search for cookies by domain and set cookies when you login to your Mac OS X user account as well edit/view cookie values. [1.3MB]
- Virtual Speaker 1.2.1 is a "KEXT (kernel extension) for Mac OS 10.2 [that] fixes problems with the handling of sound on the Apple G4 Cube when the external USB speakers are not connected...
