The new offers tools to "make video look like film." It uses the new Digital Film Lab (DFL) to create the look of film and the ReTimer SD/HD to adjust the speed of footage to create a more film-like quality. The Digital Film Lab plugin can create blurs, film grain, and optical effects, while the full ReTimer package can give video the speed of film. The DFL plugin can simulate a variety of film looks, popular glass camera filters, specialized lenses and optical lab processes with either 8- or 16-bits per channel processing. The bundle runs under After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Combustion; it is $500 for the SD version and $800 for the HD version.
