DiskWarrior 2.1 adds OS X, other features

updated 09:54 am EST, Tue January 9, 2001

Alsoft is shipping DiskWarrior 2.1, an update to its popular disk utility that can now "safely" rebuild Mac OS X Extended disks, checks System and Finder files for damage, eliminates a common cause of system crashes by checking custom icon files for corruption, and repairs the "wrapper System file damage recently disclosed by Apple, allowing Macs with these disks to start up." The $30 upgrade is available online.

    WTF!?

$30 for such a minor upgrade? Unbelievable!

    Seriously!!!!!

I paid for the 2.0.2 upgrade in September and I'll be damned if I'm paying for another one that seems very minor. I don't mind paying for something that is greatly improved but this ain't it!
