Oki offers new C9500dxn Pro Studio Edition

Oki Data Americas today announced its OKI C9500dxn Pro Studio Edition digital color printer, which it says has been specially configured to meet the needs of the graphic arts and commercial printing community. It provides several color management tools and other support, including MonacoEZMatch, iProof TrueSpot, SWOP, Euroscale, SNAP, and ICC color profiles for both Windows and Macintosh platforms. The C9500dxn Pro Studio Edition also comes with 320MB of RAM standard with an optional upgrade of a maximum 1GB of RAM.
Oki Data's uses an external software RIP based on the Global Graphic's JAWS Postscript RIP with advanced queue management, control of spooling, RIP-ing, printing, and setup for unique media features. The printer utilizes OKI Single Pass Color Technology for 30 ppm color and 37 ppm monochrome printing with 1200x1200 dpi resolution. It also prints on various types of paper and card stock, including sheets up to 47.25" long and up to 110 lbs index. It has a standard paper capacity of 2,850 sheets.
The C9500dxn Pro Studio Edition has a 10GB hard disk drive for large file support. The OkiLAN 6200e+ Internal Ethernet Print Server (10/100 Base-TX) and the PrintSuperVision Web-based management utility are also standard. The printer supports Adobe PostScript 3. It is $13,000.
