MacNN reader Colin Rose that TD Waterhouse's recent Website overhaul does not support Safari, noting that the site causes JavaScript errors. "We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. WebBroker is designed for [...] home access for the Macintosh with most versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape. Regretfully, WebBroker is currently incompatible with the Safari browser, which is the new browser specifically tailored for Apple, and likely to be the future standard for the Macintosh OS. However, we have passed on your concerns about Safari not being supported to our development team, and please trust that we will look at the feasibility of supporting it in the future."

    How about a link?

If you reference an URL, don't you think that you should provide a link to it?

    Usable via WebBanking

While I cannot log into it directly, if I go to https://easyweb.tdcanadatrust.com and access my WebBroker account, it does work. Although, there are times that eServices claims to not have a timeout for the session, but the rest of WebBroker continues to work.

And if you post a message to a message board, shouldn't you know that it should read "a URL".

    use Camino

I like Safari but tired of these type of issues. I've switched exclusively to Camino v0.7 as it's small and fast, has no issues with these types of sites and the GUI is great.

    re: use Camino

Does Camino have no issues with these types of sites because it's more compatible, or is it that the sites work but block non-IE or NS browsers and Camino spoofs their user string?

    standards

Perhaps if webmasters would make their sites conform to standards instead of cowtowing to Microsoft, this wouldnt be an issue.
