right on the ball, as usual...
so many opportunities for new PowerBooks, so little news on when... :(
Intel is so impressed with the new G5 performance that they are switching over to the G5 architecture and abandoning X86 altogether. Microsoft has already begun porting windows to PowerPC and has abandoned Longhorn. The new PowerPC version of windows is built upon Darwin, Apple Computer's open source Unix based core operating system. Amiga is also porting its OS to PowerPC, but no one cares.
for powerbooks? do you want your ballhair to burn and stick to your legs from all the heat a g5 powerbook would give out?
Try washing the KY Jelly off of it once in awhile...
Apple France brought a Dual G5 and it's having a tour all around France now. I saw the G5 in a Parisian electronic store two weeks ago.
Apple should exhibit in Siggraph many years ago but they didn't.
I thought G4 was the fastest systems in the last 5 years ;) ;)
Amiga is already ported to the PPC a long time ago around the same time Apple moved the PPC, Amiga did too.
Who cares? ;)
