Kensington has released what it describes as the "first and only" Wi-Fi network detector. The enables on-the-go users to determine if a location is "hot" without the use of a computer. This is helpful for people traveling with a laptop who don't have immediate access to the computer, or don't want to wait for it to start up. It detects 802.11b and 802.11g signals from up to 200 feet away. Pricing information is not yet available.
