SoftRAID today . The company announced that it would extend through August its beta period to include testing for Apple's new G5 architecture. SoftRAID 3, originally expected to ship at the end of this month, is now expected to ship at the end of August. The beta program currently has nearly 100 beta sites testing SoftRAID 3.0. Version 3.0 will support PCI-X, FW-800 and USB 2.0. SoftRAID 3.0 will be $150 with upgrades starting at $100. Registered purchases after August 1, 2002 will be entitled to a free upgrade.
