Real Player gains users, QT, WMP both lose

RealNetworks announced that its RealPlayer software was used by more than 29 million users in March, more than Microsoft's Windows Media Player and Apple's QuickTime combined (both of which lost market share). The company also announced that its software has become the fourth most popular application, besting other popular titles such as America Online and Office.
