today announced a computer monitor with a built-in camera and microphone to facilitate easy video conferencing. The M730V 17-inch LCD monitor also includes built-in surround-sound speakers and a picture-in-picture (PIP) function to provide a fully integrated solution for video conferencing. It also includes both analog and DVI inputs, a three-port USB 2.0 hub, and S-VHS and composite-video inputs. The integrated LCD features a 16ms response time, a 160-degree viewing angle, a 450:1 contrast ratio, and 1280x1024 resolution. It is expected to ship in September for $1000. [site not updated]
