Digital Media tools maker Tribeworks said today that it has lowered the price of its professional rich-media authoring software to $500. Previously, the software cost $1000 for the first year and $750 per year thereafter. Tribeworks also announced a price reduction for its entry level annual service and support package, "Silver Membership," from $1000 per year to $900 per year, and a price increase in its top-tier support package "Gold Membership," from $2,800 to $3,000.
