Pixar is currently evaluating a full release of its on the 64-bit Power Mac G5. Pixar has "found the performance of the G5 to be impressive," and is are considering a full release of the popular renderer, depending on customer demand, among other issues. If RenderMan products are announced for the G5, the earliest such a statement would come is August, 2003, when the G5 is released, according to the company.
