today unveiled its new 'Titanium' product family. The new, all aluminum drive enclosures offer "unprecedented speed and flexibility," featuring FireWire or USB 2.0 interfaces. The new Titanium series is aimed at professional audio and DV users alike -- offering speeds exceeding 40MB/Sec from a single disk drive, fanless design for silent operation, and a "virtually unbreakable" aluminum casing. At the time of publication, Fantom Drives' Web site had not been updated with further details.
