    Yes

It is a technical issue. Nothing they can do about it.
    Sorry.

Regardless - No retailers have reported receiving any copies as of yet. Amazon still does not have it, Sony's store has yet to ship any copies, and the Apple Store does not have any copies.

Basically - the server is up but no one is playing because there are no CDs out there.

    Server is called Al'Kabor

    re: Yes

WRONG. It is not a technical issue. They could do something about it. It is just a program and they could program it if they wanted to. They don't want to make the effort to and that will doom this. Every Mac user I have talked about this with says that it doesn't interest tham if they have to be on a separate server from their PC friends. Many also have characters already from their PC side and want to use them on the Mac.

I am a SW developer and know about programming. They could make it interoperate if they wanted too. Just to damn lazy.

    mac only, but not forever

The Mac only server is not permanent.

There are code differences currently between client and backend servers, and in time, updates will bring MacEQ up to par with PCEQ. When that happens, PC users will be able to play on Al'Kabor and perhaps vise versa.
