I wouldn't expect them to broadcast in WMP or Realplayer...

    Re: Strange...

It might a little late in the game to have them do a live QuickTime broadcast. I'm only speculating so don't chew me out. I really don't know how much planning it takes to actually a live broadcast.

I would of thought that Apple would cover all abilities (streaming webcast, satellite and broadcast to the retail Apple stores) to see the WWDC keynote from the start . I'm glad they are doing this but I rather prefer they do it live. Better late than never I say.

I live in Alabama (insert your jokes here & I'll give you some time to stop laughing) and it's a 2 hour drive to the Lenox Square mall in Atlanta. Now I can watch it from the comfort of my apartment.

    Delayed

People pay a lot of money to go to WWDC. That's my only reasoning. They have analog satellite access for news outlets, and the lucky people that still have those things at home :)

    Delayed

After doing a couple live broadcasts myself, i can tell you it is a lot less money to not do it live, You cut out about half the equipment needed.

    2 expensive 4 live

Seriously, it is way too expensive to do a live webcast. Besides, if it's really important to you to see it, why not go?

    Just Plain Sux

Maybe Quicktime can't handle it. I remember the last live webcast a lot of people complained and Apple server was swamped. I wish MS would put it live on WMP, then maybe Apple would start taking care of the consumer.

    Alabama

In Alabama (and surrounding states), "How's your sister/brother/mother/father?" takes on a whole different meaning.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be back for more.

    McFly?!?!

10am in Cali is 1pm on the east coast. It's not delayed.

Every other keynote has been live. There is zero additional cost to broadcast it live. All of these statements are baseless and moronic.

I will be watching live at 1pm EST.

Seriously, read your posts before making them.
