Written by a Toronto-based journalist, Confessions of a soon-to-be ex-Mac user cites the myth of the Megarhetz myth, price disparity, and the marginalization of Mac users as primariy reasons he will complete his reverse migration: "Faced with the delimma of buying a new computer, I can't justify the cost of yet another Macintosh. The new 17-inch iMac with a 1 Ghz processor doesn't hold up against a 2.5 Ghz Dell Dimension with an 18-inch flat-screen monitor for the same money (give or take a buck or two)."

dear sir is your MS Word not keeping up on the slow macs you got?
This is the sort of thing a newpaper writer writes about after his MS Word beachballs and he has to force quit... The guy probably made up half the story. you can't trust half the crap you read now a days...
anyway. Have fun with your Dell. and time to change that email address...

this guy is gonna look so stupid come monday. he'll be like...uh...macs are insanely fast. they arnt as expensive. yadda yadda. i hate fickle jouralists. if he truely likes the mac as he claims to...for one he wouldnt switch...and two...he should know to wait until monday and all the price/speed concerns are officially going the way of the dodo.
