Planar debuts 21.3" flat-panel LCD monitor

today introduced the PX212M, a 21.3-inch flat-panel LCD monitor. The PX212M is the latest in Planar's premium PX-line of monitors, and features multiple video inputs (S-video, composite video, analog and digital), picture-in-picture capability and integrated speakers as well as UXGA (1600x1200) resolution. The monitor's picture-in-picture functionality allows users to perform multiple tasks at once. The PX212M also features the innovative QuadStand base, allowing for simple height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments and offers a 400:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 250 cd/m2 and viewing angle of 170 degrees. It also features a 3-year "Customer First" warranty featuring free 2-day air monitor advance replacement. The $1,400 LCD will be available July 18th in black or silver/black finishes.
