Asanté: 1000BT NAT router with cache

Asanté is expected to introduce and demonstrate several new products at Macworld Expo this week:
- It will preview "the world's first" NAT router with cache for sharing 10/100/1000BaseT network connection, FriendlyNET Internet Accelerator, which has a high-performance caching engine that holds web content in local RAM and hard disk as well as a print server with local spooling.
- Its new FriendlyNET 2.0 firmware ($20 upgrade), which is due at the end of January.
- Asanté will demo its FriendlyNET FR3004AL, an Internet router with support for Airport and other 802.11b wireless devices and a bundled Windows and Linux print server.
