The new Initio iConn FireWire-to-SCSI adapter,
to be showcased at Macworld Expo this week, boasts "data speeds nearly 10 times
faster" than USB-to-SCSI converters. The $100, IEEE 1394.a-compliant external
device measures 2.5"(W )x2.75"(L) x.75"(H) and offers one 50-pin UltraSCSI
connector and two FireWire ports.
