...somebody supplies this service. hahaha.
For a company that has a past reputation of having great customer service, that's one area that they are falling short in nowadays. *sigh*

A product comes along which everyone apparently seems grateful to see and yet some people still find a way to b**** and point fingers at Apple for not offering it themselves. Ain't that typical.
What is it about these interactive Mac-industry sites that attracts these goofballs who have nothing better to do than act like they always know better or could do a better job than Apple is doing?
Damn, if only they weren't goofballs then maybe they could.

I wonder if you could stuff the slightly thicker toshiba 40 GB drive and one of the thinner 3G batteries into the thick 'classic' 20 GB case???

According to some comments on Macintouch today, some people tried to use a different drive (although the same make) in an iPod, and while it worked as a drive, it was not recognized in iTunes.

I don't see how this service has anything to do with Apple. They service your iPod while it's under warranty, and when it isn't you can order this battery. WTF else do people want?
