New software for D1 Desktop PCI cards

Digital Voodoo today announced the availability of Version 4.9 of its D1 Desktop 64 software, which brings full 16-bit RGB (64-bit per pixel support), full RGB+Alpha key playback, Media Transfer 1.6 with better support for Final Cut Pro reference movies, and other enhancements. The software works with its D1 Desktop series of PCI QuickTime cards, which offer uncompressed editing with Final Cut Pro, design with Adobe After Effects, and broadcast paint with Adobe Photoshop. The latest model, the D1 Desktop 128HD offers full, uncompressed HDTV support as well as standard definition formats.
