Tenon announced that its new version of iTools will be bundled with Halcyon's Instant ASP (iASP), a Java implementation of the industry-standard Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) framework, which includes support for VBScript and JScript and interfaces with multiple component architectures, including JavaBeans, EJB, JSP, Java Servlet, and all JDBC database engines. Aestiva and Tenon have also released four Web-site add-on applications that will ship for iTools 6.0 for Mac OS X (and is due later for other platforms). The products include point-and-click administration and include free installation help so outside technical assistance is not needed.

• LiveHelp is a pop-up chat window that is added to a Web site to provide live Technical Support and/or Sales Support services;
• HelpMate supercharges a Web site with "popup help" windows;
• Tell-A-Friend is a marketing component designed to help visitors instantly spread the word about a Web site.
• Knowledge Base allows one to add a searchable database to a site.
