We all knew this was coming soon. No surprise here to see this update. If it were M$ coming out with an update to address a security issue so soon after it was discovered, THEN I would be surprised.

still no animation on....

Safari has never been able to do animation on Weather.com. Just loads for ever. This version is no different.

I use excite.com as a home page. Safari is by far the slowest at loading this site of all browsers.

Software update?

05/15, 06:39pm reply

Software update doesn't have it. Either that or mine doesn't work right, which wouldn't surprise me. It only ever finds OS updates, I always have to do everything else by hand. Anyone else?

where?

software update doesn't have it for me either. It gets other software (like iMoved, etc.) but never Safari.

I don't see any sign of an update on Apple's site either, if it's reccomended, you'd think they'd make it obvious. The dowload page is offering "Beta 2" with no build number, no indication there's an update
