Tomatochip.com has announced its storage solution. The FireXpress 250DX includes a 80GB 4,200RPM IBM/Hitachi 2.5" hard drive with a both FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interface. The dual-interface allows users to share the drive between PCs and Macs. The drive is bus-powered or can be self-powered with bundled FireCABLE system. It is available now for $300.
