CompuCable has announced that its , a $20 FireWire/USB Car Charger, is compatible with all styles of iPod, including the latest third-generation ("3G") announced earlier this week. The FirePOD's detachable cable design will work with any iPod, as well as other bus-powered FireWire and USB devices, such as hard drives, camcorders, cell phones, PDA's. The FirePOD is also bundled with the unique FireCABLE, a "Bus-Power Injector" for 4-pinned IEEE1394 host controller found on Windows systems.
