Apple's Xserve and PowerBooks are used by the Minnesota Wild NHL team to offer fans watching from the 74 luxury suites at the Xcel Energy Center the ability to watch high-definition game images on PowerBook G4s while browsing live stats, scores and news over the Internet: "The data is created, stored and delivered on Apple's Xserve systems. While the team has a PC-based network, it has used the Xserve to handle media-rich images. The team claims it saves money too because it doesn't pay client-access fees for Mac OS X Server or for QuickTime Streaming Server."

And how about those T-wolves? Spanked the Lakers last night. Choked in the 4th, but hey, they still won. Take THAT, LA!
Let's hope the Twins have good luck this year like last. It'll turn out to be a great year for Minnesota sports.
:D

And geesh, you people and your hockey. The playoffs are boring until the semi-finals. That's when I'll watch. Can't wait for the annual Red Wings vs. Avalanche series this year! Go wings!

And sudden-death overtime? ooooorrrrrriiiiinnnnnnggggg. Hell, you can't even get up to use the restroom while in OT because you may miss the winning score. Give me great NBA basketball action. In the last minutes of a game, there's so much action. Not just on the court. There's also the strategy games of the coaches. Who should we foul? Who should we send in during defensive situations, and then replace when we go on offense. Let's call a time out to set up our play, then call another one when we see their defensive setup to our offensive setup so we can then change our offensive setup to match their defensive setup (which they might change!).
And, as opposed to hockey, in basketball, you can miss the first half (hell the first three quarters!), and if its a good game, its still within a couple of points and you haven't really missed anything. You flip over to hockey in the middle, and you might've missed all the scoring...

PS. I love how the americans have been booing the canadian national anthem, the hating never stops with you guys hey? Just hate on some more people, pile up your money, wrap yourself in the american flag and you can never go wrong. Hell don't even give the sensible people in your country a chance to speak, just call them 'unpatriotic' that'll shut them up.

Sudden death OT is intense! The Ducks and Dallas went to 5 OT periods!
As for American sport...
Hockey is CANADIAN, by the way! A lot of us Northeasterners and Midwesties play it, too! Not to mention players from all over Europe...
NBA basketball is a game for 7 foot tall freaks, I just can't relate to it. Plus, with all the silly time-outs and clock stopping bull, it takes 1/2 hour or more to play the last 2 minutes.
Do like they do in hockey... PLAY... win or lose!
Baseball: A bunch of overpaid fat guys standing around working on their tans, investment portfolios and jock itch...
Go DEVILS!
