Same-Day Pickup Service for PowerMac repairs

updated 11:35 am EDT, Wed April 23, 2003

MacResQ announced today a new nationwide as part of their PowerMacResQ repair program. "The new same-day pickup allows PowerMac or iMac users to get their computers repaired and back in their hands faster than ever, improving on PowerMacResQ's already fast, convenient and affordable service." The new same-day pickup service is $100 ("$30 less than our regular Overnight Service! It also speeds up the process by an entire day"). The standard overnight PowerMacResQ service is $130 and includes 3-way overnight shipping, the initial diagnostic service, and the PowerBox, which the customer may keep for future use.

No, it simply means MacResQ is filling a service void where a lot of other companies are not offering the service.

Why does everyone jump on Apple at the first sign of a "problem?". Computers breaking down are just anothing thing that happens eventually.
