so these thing are only 10.2.0 and 10.2.1-2? I guess people are morons if they don't just rev their s*** to the newest version when it comes out. i'd be pissed to have to make a worthless KB article about this, since it should be common practice to have the most current and up-to-date version of software on your rig.
honestly this is retarded. now the other issues, fine, i relent. but damn it, update that software or don't b****. and if you just have dial-up or ISDN (which seems about as slow to me), let it go overnight, for pete's sake.
why don't you toddle over to macfixit.com and check up on the errors that people report with the releases of the latest incremental releases (stupid 1969 date reset bug comes to mind)?
NO ONE should install an update immediately, except those pioneers who are willing to "take the arrows" for the rest of us and report kernel panics, etc. no two installations are alike, and it's important to know what your up against, especially if you're earning money off your rig like i am.
that said, i am updated to 10.2.4, but am holding off on 10.2.5 until i can see a pattern emerge from the error reports i have been reading and see if i fall into those demographics.
