Apple confirmed it will open its first Washington state retail store next month, at Bellevue Square, after we first in November 2002. The 4,600-square-foot, ground-level store will sell Macintosh-brand computers and other companies' digital cameras and other electronics, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Update: A King Country Journal article indicates that the store will likely open May 10. Meanwhile, another MacNN reader points to more Apple store job openings at a second location:
"It looks like Apple has started posting job ads for a second company store in the Seattle area. This one is in University Village, an open air mall near the University of Washington campus within Seattle proper. The other store to open shortly is in Bellevue, a suburb on the other side of Lake Washington (and not very accessible for Seattle-ites)."
