ViewSonic debuts ThinEdge LCD series

ViewSonic today introduced the , a new line of LCDs that combine ultra-slim bezel design and high-definition screen performance with features such as digital/analog connectivity, pivot/height adjustability and multiple-mounting configurability. The monitors feature ClearMotiv video response times as fast as 16 milliseconds and direct compatibility with HDTV high-scan 720p format as well as dual analog and DVI inputs. ThinEdge Series displays are available in five models. The 17-inch VP171b ($600) and 19-inch VP191b ($850) include two VGA and one DVI-I inputs are expected to ship later this month; while the 18.1-inch VP181b ($700), 20.1-inch VP201b ($1,400) and 21.3-inch VP211b ($1,600) offer one VGA input, one DVI-I input and an integrated USB 2.0 hub and are expected to ship in May. The 18-inch and larger ThinEdge Series displays are also available in a panel module-only option.
