Group Logic releases ExtremeZ-IP 3.0

Group Logic today released , a major upgrade to its Mac file and print connectivity software for Windows servers. ExtremeZ-IP now supports Apple's latest version of the AppleShareIP file sharing protocol, AFP 3.1, along with many other enhancements: "ExtremeZ-IP is the first and only Windows-based file server to fully support Mac OS X, making it a 'must have' for mixed Macintosh and Windows computing environments. AFP 3.1 offers support for file and folder names longer than 31 characters; support for files larger than 2GB; improved international language compatibility using Unicode file names; improved performance when working with large folder structures; and support for the Rendezvous. Licensing starts at $675 for a 10-client Workstation, while upgrade pricing starts at $170.
