Live365, the largest Internet radio network, announced today the release of , a broadcasting tool for users running Mac OS X 10.2. The new software is a stand-alone application that allows users to easily create an Internet radio station on the Live365 network, using existing MP3 files and playlists in iTunes. It features full integration with iTunes, drag & drop playlist management, one-click microphone control, mix multiple sources, the ability to manage/display broadcast information, a plugin architecture for expandability, and options for latency and encoder quality for slower systems. A 14-day demo is available for new broadcasters. Users can create their own Internet radio station starting at $5 per month. (Other advanced options such as stat tracking, a scheduler, a personal URL, and ad content control are available for $15 per month.)
