Haha...jokes on you! It's only 867mhz!...er wait a min...it's only 867mhz...Doh!
Why do PC people post here?
JESUS! in that case, even a gateway would be better!
dude, an 867 MHz G4 stomps all over a 5 GHz pee-four with its VELOCITY ENGINE! AWK AWK!
time to buy oven mitts if you cant take the heat of this laptop.
you're the pee head if you think the gee-four has a chance against 5000MHz of intel goodness.
Hyperthreading. w00+!
what do you care how fast it is anyway?
how much cpu does surfing p*** and tech sites really take up anyway???
You mean that 505-series that starts only about $50 less than a comparably-equipped 12" AlBook?
Oooh, impressive, 1.8GHz. And I see it has that Intel "SpeedStop" technology that makes the processor run slower so you get more than the ~30 minutes of battery life you'd get if it were running at its rated speed while unplugged from the wall. Sweet.
And the cherry on top, it runs Windows. No thanks, I like having an OS that just works, with a nice GUI and a full UNIX lurking underneath for when I need it.
The only thing that kept me from buying a 12" AlBook is that the 12" iBook I decided on is a tougher machine, and my laptop rides in my backpack and goes with me everywhere, so I wanted that extra durability.
Troll here,
It takes LOTS of CPU time because the only decent p*** surfing software is limewire, which relies on Apple's piece of s*** JVM.
If you use windows, granted, you won't need all that CPU.

who cares?
it's way too expensive for a 1GHz processor.
Buy a Sony VAIO if you aren't dumb.
