- IOXperts has released version 1.0.2 of its 802.11b driver for Mac OS 9. It continues to support more than 60 different 802.11b wireless networking cards on PowerBooks equipped with PC Card slots. This new release fixes some bugs and includes support for the Short Preamble feature, which is intended to improve network throughput when transmitting streaming video or voice.
