Tech: Linux 2.4, Xbox, Sony in Bluetooth

Morning tech news: Sony, Compaq, Phillips and Intel are the latest companies to invest in Cambridge Silicon Radio, a start-up manufacturer that produces chips for Bluetooth wireless devices; Linux 2.4 brings support for USB devices and better multiprocessing capabilities; and Microsoft will unveil the first demonstration of its new Xbox video-game console's technology on Saturday at a Las Vegas electronics conference.
