    Juice

I purchased one of these last month to replace the horrible adapted that came with my Ti 1GHz. It is great. Never have a problem with power drop out that happens with the stock PB adapter. Costs a little more, but you also get a car and airline adapter for the price. The little blue light on the base is cool too.

    Didn't work for me

So much for it being a Juice adaptor. I thought this was one of those things like that Potato clock, which would create energy from juice itself and give me an endless supply of power, which I great because I always carry a can or two of juice with me. I tried tomato, carrot, beet, and even clam! All to no avail. What a scam this product is.

Hasn't this product been available for the Mac for a while now. I almost bought one two weeks ago from the Juice web site.

...so much for the BMW experience, when a user has to put folded paper under a fan to quiet the machine. Seems more like a piece cheap c*** to me...

I just took delivery of my FW800 1.42 and it was as quiet as a Whisper then after about 20-30 mins this ticking started, then repeadly tickiing Ive heard it described as a Diesel well that about sums it up. Mine was intermittent.

IT started to annoy me quickly.. I was in love with the unit at first Dead Silent..

Well I found a fix!! All of you having this issue listen up! I opened the Box while the Noise was very bad. It was the large Fan on the Bottom for the CPU the one you all identified.
__Well I found as another user stated that by pressing the fan I could alter the noise, And Stop it, with Pressure in an Upward pull on the Black Housing of the Fan.

So I realized as i held the fan up with no noise that if I were to JAM some folded Thick paper like a matchcover under the Housing the noise stayed GONE.. Oh you can hear a DROP of it but its perfectly acceptable.

The Fix Apple is offering is not working as the problem is in the Mounting of the fan, as far as IMy experience.. So the new Fans Rattle like the old ones they could be better Fans yes but the issue with the diesel noise is this Rattle that cylcles.. I elimenated this sound with the above care

So this is a Quick easy fix till a more robust sloution is found. Enjoy your new machine!!

These are SWEET Machines - Fast Quiet Capable.. No reason to wait for the next level (970)..till thats SOLID will be way over a year. The G4 I.42 I have is the at the top of its game, with all the current software here now for it. Im in heaven. it rips through your Tasks in the Finder. Clean Kool - Happy Camper Here I added 1.5 Gbs ram and a Memorex 52X Burner .. stable as a Stone

Oh By the way updated throught Software update without a hickup No Problems at all Verry happy here Verry Happy
