  • 3TAG AB has released ImageOrganizer-X 2.0.1, an update to the $20 Mac OS X thumbnail database software that fixes "issues" that "never showed up during beta cycle." According to the developer, "the idea behind IMOX is [...] not to fill your hard drive with thousands and thousands of duplicates of your images, but to keep track of where your images are stored, even on [...] on remote volumes."   • DC Handy Palette 1.0 is now available for $10 through February 28th, compared to the regular price of $20. DC Handy Palette allows Mac OS 9/X users to keep track of their daily changes to files. "Web page designers are using this program to keep track of daily changes to Web sites," notes the developer. It includes support for Macintosh Client Server Mounting through TCP/IP, SAMBA, and AppleTalk. [Download - 1.9MB]
  • Apple has released File Name Encoding Repair Utility, which will fix incorrect file name conversion done by Classic versions of the Mac OS. [Download - 54KB]
  • Cocoa eFax 1.1 adds a better manual, improved Mac OS X 10.2.4 support, a SPAM blocker, and the ability to email a received fax to specified address -- or to multiple addresses -- to the $10 fax solution.   • IOXperts has released version 1.0.2 of its USB WebCam Driver for Mac OS X. The driver supports more than 35 USB Web cameras, including many popular models from Logitech and Philips. Newly supported cameras in this release are: AME-CU320, Philips ToUcam XS (PCVC720K/40 only), and VideoLogic HomeC@m. Registering the driver for full functionality costs $20. [Download - 539KB]
  • Intelli Innovations has released Barcode Producer 1.8, which adds support for POSTNET barcodes, improved support for ISSN barcodes and a new 'IntelliScanner Test Box' feature to the $100 barcode creation software.
